Today was an easy day.
For the first time in six days I did not set an alarm. I woke up around 08.00 feeling very tired. I

Experience has taught me to be cautious with water. I am glad that I did because I met up with Sebastian from Germany who is trying to cycle around Europe's coastline in 3 months.
We had an immediate camaraderie - I really liked him. A fine young man. I hope he succeeds. We took selfies and exchanged blog addresses and wished each other well. A heart warming experience.

I went into central Bruges this afternoon by bike naturally.
The pavement is practically non - existent so everyone is on a bike except for the thousands of selfie snapping tourists.
Bruges is aptly named Venice of the North.

I plan to head for Ghent tomorrow.

Brian - that is great that you had an easier day with plenty human contact to help you relax. More important that you are re-charged rather than any technology. Keep them wheels rolling. Namur and Luxembourg are beckoning and worth the effort. Hope the cream is doing its job! B&S
